*The number of participants benefiting from Erasmus+ Staff Mobility is determined by considering any participations in the same project type within the 5 years preceding the application announcement date.

NOTE:  
KA171 and KA131 projects are two different project types and applications for these projects are evaluated on their own. In this context, -10 points will not be applied to staff who have participated in KA171 mobility and are applying for KA131 mobility in the new term (or vice versa).

Foreign Language Certificate
The document of foreign language proficiency accepted by the ITU School of Foreign Languages (presentation of the document is mandatory) will be considered as the basis.

  • In case a foreign language certificate is not submitted:
    • The foreign language score for Professors and Associate Professors will be considered as 70.
    • For faculty members teaching English courses, the foreign language score will be evaluated as 80, provided that the CRN (Course Reference Number) of the course is written on the application form.

Application to the country of citizenship
Staff who intend to participate in an Erasmus+ exchange in the country of their citizenship
(10 points will be deducted from their final scores, if the staff prefers his/her home country in the preference list)

Staff who were selected for mobility within 5 years prior to the application date but did not attend or complete the cancellation procedure on time, except for force majeure reasons -10 points
Applying for two types of mobility at the same time (reduction applies to the type of mobility preferred by the staff) -10 points
Those who received disaster aid from AFAD (Those who receive disaster aid from AFAD, provided that they or their first-degree relatives provide documentation)

*According to Article 21 of the Anti-Terrorism Law dated 12/4/1991 and numbered 3713, “public officials who are injured, disabled, killed or injured while performing their duties at home and abroad or as a result of carrying out these duties even if their titles have been removed. the spouses and children of those who were killed, and the spouses and children of those who lost their lives due to the coup attempt and the terrorist act on 15/07/2016, as well as the continuation of this act, or civilians who were disabled, pursuant to Article 7 of the Decree Law No. 667 of 23 July 2016. and their spouses and children are prioritized if they apply for Erasmus staff mobility. During the application of the staff to Erasmus mobility, T.C. If a scanned version of the Martyr/Veteran Family card issued by the Ministry of Family and Social Policies is submitted, +15 points are applied.
**Disabled personnel (If they document their situation with a Disabled Health Board Report, +10 points will be applied. Disabled health report must be obtained from public hospitals that the Ministry of Health considers authorized to issue disability reports.)

In case of equal scores between applicants
, prioritization will be based on the National Agency Handbook Evaluation Criteria, as follows:
1st Priority: Applicants who have benefited less from Erasmus Staff Mobility in previous periods
2nd Priority: Applicants with a higher foreign language score
3rd Priority: Applicants holding administrative positions
4th Priority: Applicants conducting mobility involving activities in Digitalization or Artificial Intelligence (submission of document is mandatory)
5th Priority: Applicants with a longer service period at ITU
