Istanbul Technical University International Relations Coordination Office's Study and Internship Mobility Office organized a special farewell event for exchange students who came from abroad and spent a semester at the university in the Fall Semester of the 2023-2024 Academic Year. This event, which aims to leave unforgettable memories for the participating students and celebrate their time at ITU, took place on January 5, 2024 at 14.00.
The event was organized by Erasmus Institutional Coordinator Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fatih Ortakcı, Erasmus Institutional Coordinator Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ayda Şafak Ağar Özbek, Assistant Erasmus Institutional Coordinator and Erasmus Incoming/Outgoing Student Unit Officer Assoc. Assist. Sebla Kağnıcı Erol started with their speeches. Afterwards, tea and foods from Turkish culture were served to the participants and they were given the opportunity to remember their experiences and share their experiences with each other. During the event, a video recording was made to learn about the students' experiences, thoughts and feelings at ITU and in Turkey. Students played a game with short and fun questions about Turkish culture and the winner received an ITU badge.
Finally, the results of the "Being an Erasmus Student at ITU" photo contest held in the past months were announced and the photos were shared with the students. The three best photographs were awarded with prizes. Afterwards, the students said goodbye and a group photo was taken.
