KA131 Student Mobility for Studies (Program Countries) - Outgoing Students

Important Information

Students wishing to exchange with the Erasmus+ KA131 Student Mobility for Studies programme have to submit their application documents to Turkish Nation Agency's Application Portal to be evaluated according to the Erasmus+ programme selection criteria. After the announcement of Preliminary Evaluation List, there will be objection and cancellation process. Students who are selected by ITU Study and Traineeship Mobility Office after the final announcement of Erasmus+ candidate students will be nominated to the host institutions and will become Erasmus+ "candidate" students.

To become an actual Erasmus+ Student, the candidate needs to meet all the admission requirements of the host institution (posted on their websites), prepare all necessary documents provided by the host institution and send them to the relevant institution. Following the registration process of the host institution is under the responsibility of students. ITU International Relations Coodinatorship- Study and Traineeship Mobility Office has no responsibility if the student is rejected by the host institution. Only after receiving the acceptance letter from host institution via e-mail or postal service, the student will be considered as an Erasmus+ Student.

The selection and nomination by the ITU Study and Traineeship Mobility Office does not guarantee that the students will be accepted by the host institution. The students who are not accepted by host institutions have to follow the cancellation procedure.

Your placement in a quota as an actual Erasmus student after the selection process by ITU Study and Traineeship Mobility Office, together with the acceptance of the host institution do not mean that you can obtain a visa for the country concerned. Students who cannot get a visa on time (before the mobility) are obliged to complete the cancellation procedure.

  • Before mobility documents must be completed at least 2 weeks before going to the host institution.
  • Students must keep one copy in their Erasmus folders.
  • All documents which will be given to the consulate must be up-to-date (not be older than 3 months)
  • Documents which wll be signed by Institutional Coordinator must be given to our office before 3 working days at least. Please do not leave your work until the last minute for the corrections and not to set it back.
